East Bay's Housing Market has great momentum

The East Bay market continues to move at a nice pace. As of today, Oct 7th, there are 3,540 active listings in the East Bay which includes Alameda and Contra Costa County. Pending stats are strong with 4,352 pending sales. Given that ratio, both counties combined have just under a month of inventory. Some of the hottest markets include Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Dublin and Pleasanton. These five cities have some of the lowest average days on market in entire East Bay. San Ramon happens to be the fastest moving market at 17 average days on market and the top 20 pending sales going into escrow within 7 days. As long as we don't have an extended rainy season, we should have a healthy fall and winter market.  By the way, the best news of the day is the A's beat the Tigers! Cheers! - Kevin R Kieffer is Broker / Team Leader for The EastBayPro Team  with offices in Danville & Walnut Creek and team members serving the entire East Bay market.
