Livermore and Pleasanton markets along with several other East Bay markets are experiencing significant inventory shortage as buyers continue to compete with the limited supply. Pending properties in both cities combined is 282 while the number of active properties is just 115.
These figures indicate an inventory inbalance and that it is definitely a seller's market. We sure hope to see more inventory as we move toward spring. There are still opportunities for buyers but during this unique market situation, different strategies need to be employed to ensure a winning offer.
